site.btaCOVID-19 Update: Over 3,100 New Cases, Test Positivity Rate at 17.94%

Sofia, April 13 (BTA) - The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases
in Bulgaria reached 375,115 after 17,402 tests identified 3,122
new infections on Monday, according to data posted on
https://coronavirus.bg/. The test positivity rate now stands at
17.94 per cent.

Sofia tops the list of new cases with 758 positive tests,
followed by Plovdiv with 314 cases and Varna with 233.

The active cases are 71,140. Currently, the hospitalized
patients number 9,970 including 776 in intensive care.

The infected medical staff have reached 12,588.

Another 3,098 COVID-19 patients have recovered over the last 24
hours, bringing the total to 289,356.

With 201 new fatalities, the death toll now adds up to 14,619.

With 7,330 new inoculations over the last 24 hours, 579,992
persons in aggregate have been vaccinated against the
coronavirus, of whom 114,644 have received both doses.
