site.btaCOVID-19 Update: 303 New Cases, Test Positivity Rate at 1.7%

Sofia, June 1 (BTA) - The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in
Bulgaria reached 418,577, after 16,978 tests identified 303 new
infections on Monday, according to data posted on
https://coronavirus.bg/. The test positivity rate now stands at
1.7 per cent.

Sofia tops the list of new cases with 56 positive tests,
followed by Plovdiv with 32 cases and Varna with 29.

The active cases are 18,694. Currently, the hospitalized
patients number 3,054, including 348 in intensive care.

The infected medical staff have reached 13,410.

Another 1,646 COVID-19 patients have recovered over the last 24
hours, bringing the total to 382,183.

Thirty-eight fatalities were reported, and the death toll now
adds up to 17,700.

With 12,681 new inoculations over the last 24 hours, 1,365,923
vaccine doses have been administered in Bulgaria.
