Water Grazing Art Installation Unveiled in South Park Lake

The sculpture composition Water Grazing was officially unveiled in Sofia's South Park on Tuesday. The installation is a new version of Pavel Koychev's 2009 project of the same name, consisting of six figures - a shepherd and five sheep, in which biblical symbolism is embedded.

Water Grazing Art Installation to Be Erected in South Park Lake

An art installation consisting of a human figure and sheep by sculptor Pavel Koychev will be erected in the middle of a lake in the city's South Park here by August 14, the artist told BTA. Koychev shared his belief that the presence of art in urban areas is very important, since it "dulls the bestial tendencies in people".
