The caretaker Minister of Interior Ivan Demerdzhiev said during a hearing in the relevant parliamentary committee here on Thursday that the National Assembly could help his Ministry in the fight against migrant pressure. This could be done in two ways - by voting on the draft legislation submitted to parliament on amendments to the Penal Code in relation to human trafficking, and by allocating funds to procure technical means to secure the border and improve the security of officers, if the State Budget Law comes to a vote.
