Bulgaria’s ambitions are to upgrade the NATO battle group stationed at the Novo Selo range from a battalion to a brigade, said caretaker Defence Minister Dimitar Stoyanov after he participated in the annual South Eastern Europe Defence Ministerial (SEDM) meeting hosted by Sofia. Stoyanov’s remarks were in response to a journalist's question about increasing the number of servicemen.
