The St Kliment Ohridski University of Sofia hosted a research conference entitled, "Bulgaria and Latin America: A Look into the Future," and organized by the Department of Hispanic and Portuguese Studies and the Cervantes Institute in Sofia on the 80th birth anniversary of prominent Bulgarian Hispanic and Latin American studies professor Venko Kunev, the Sofia University said in a press release. The conference was attended by the ambassadors of Spain, Argentina, and Cuba, Hispanic studies experts and researchers.
