site.btaGERB Suspects Voting Machine Tampering, Democratic Bulgaria Says Code Was Verified before Elections

In a letter sent on Monday to the Central Election Commission (CEC), the Ministry of e-Government, and Ciela Norma, GERB demanded that the source code of the software used for the voting machines in the October 2 snap elections be made available to all authorized observers and other interested officials. The letter comes due to the party's suspicion that the machines had been tampered with. Democratic Bulgaria's (DB) Bozhidar Bozhanov responded that the source code had already been checked prior to the elections.
