site.btaCOVID-19 Update: 805 New Cases, Test Positivity Rate at 4.34%

August 11 (BTA) - The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases
in Bulgaria reached 429,628, after 18,556 tests identified 805
new infections on Tuesday, according to data posted on
https://coronavirus.bg/. The test positivity rate now stands at
4.34 per cent.

Sofia City Region tops the list of new cases with 200 positive
tests, followed by Plovdiv Region with 89 cases and Burgas
Region with 88.

The active cases are 12,030. Currently, the hospitalized
patients number 1,207, including 101 in intensive care.

The infected medical staff have reached 13,518.

Another 200 COVID-19 patients have recovered over the last 24
hours, bringing the total to 399,310.

Ten fatalities were reported, and the death toll now adds up to
18,288.

With 11,901 new inoculations over the last 24 hours, 2,114,510
persons in aggregate have received a coronavirus vaccination so
far, including 1,049,156 who are fully vaccinated.
