site.btaBulgarians Made 612,000-Plus Trips Abroad in July

August 27 (BTA) -  In July 2021, in the conditions of the
 continuing epidemic situation, the number of the trips of
Bulgarian residents abroad was 612,800, the National Statistical
 Institute said on Friday.

Trips for other purposes (as guest, education, for cultural and
sport events) accounted for the greatest share of the total
number of trips of Bulgarian residents abroad - 41.5 per cent,
followed by those for holiday and recreation - 40.4 per cent,
and for business - 18.1 per cent.

In July 2021, the number of foreign arrivals was 1, 234,500, as
the transit was 39.1 per cent (482,900 of all visits of
foreigners in this country.

The relative share of visits by purpose was as follows: for
other purposes - 47.3 per cent, for with holiday and recreation
- 44.9 per cent, and for business - 7.8 per cent. LN/PP
