Sofia, February 8 (BTA) - The Interior Ministry said here on Tuesday that it has launched an operation against fake COVID-19 green certificates.
The police is probing information about close to 3,000 fake certificates issued across five regions in Bulgaria and another 300 certificates issued to people abroad, including foreigners, who have not returned to Bulgaria.
A medical centre in Sofia is the main target of the operation. Checks are carried out in a few other regions as well. RY/MY
