Sofia, February 10 (BTA) - Pieces that rarely get played in concert halls will be performed in Sofia's Bulgaria Hall under the baton of Simeon Pironkoff on February 17, said the Sofia Philharmonic. The programme includes the symphonic poem Siegfried Idyll by Richard Wagner, Concerto for piano and string orchestra (1979) by Alfred Schnittke and Six Pieces for large orchestra by Anton Webern.
Prof. Borislava Taneva will be the soloist at the event.
