in Men's 4x7.5 km Biathlon Relay
Zhangjiakou, February 15 (BTA special correspondent Dimitar Velyov) - Bulgaria finished 18th in the men's 4x7.5 km biathlon relay at the Olympic Games in Beijing.
Blagoy Todev, Vladimiir Iliev, Dimitar Gerdzhikov and Anton Sinapov did two penalty loops, used 11 extra cartridges and finished by +7:15.1 minutes behind the winning team of Norway.
In the first two legs Blagoy Todev and Vladimir Iliev needed three and two extra cartridges respectively but in the next two legs Dimitar Gerdzhikov and Anton Sinapov each did a penalty loop, which placed Bulgaria 18th.
At the PyeongChang Games in 2018 Bulgaria's men's relay paced 16th.
Norway won the title, clocking 1:19:50.3 hours, after the team used 7 extra cartridges and did one penalty loop. RY/PP
