Mestan: "MRF Ready to Support One-Party Minority Government but Will Oppose Coalition with Nationalists"

Sofia, October 13 (BTA) - "The Movement for Rights and Freedoms
(MRF) is ready to lend support to a one-party minority
government without any conditions and without power-sharing, but
we will categorically oppose an unprincipled coalition
involving extreme nationalist entities," MRF leader Lyutvi
Mestan told a news conference here on Monday.

"The MRF does not want power, it is aware of the risk of new
elections, but it defines an unprincipled coalition involving
extreme nationalists as an even greater risk," Mestan pointed
out. In his opinion, the participation of extreme nationalists
may divide the nation.

The MRF leader said that his party will attend the consultations
with GERB on Tuesday because it feels bound to do so by
political ethics.

"The MRF can do without power, but nobody can isolate the MRF
from public and political life," Mestan said.
