Second Bomb Hoax Closes Sofia Palace of Justice in Less than  24 Hours

Sofia, October 15 (BTA) - A second bomb hoax closed the Palace
of Justice in Sofia in less than 24 hours.

After a male voice called the emergency phone number 112 on
Tuesday afternoon to warn of a bomb purportedly planted in the
building, shortly before 9 a.m. on Wednesday morning, a woman
did the same. The people in the building were asked to leave and
a check began.

The first hearing of a case involving nationalist Ataka leader
Volen Suderov had been scheduled to start at 10.30 a.m. in the
palace of Justice on Wednesday. The case is in connection with
Siderov's involvement in a major row at Varna Airport on January
6, prompted by his aggressive behaviour towards a French
diplomat who was on the same flight from Sofia. Siderov
reportedly struck a police officer and another passenger.
