Radan Kanev and Meglena Kuneva to Co-chair Reformist Bloc's Parliamentary Group

Sofia, October 26 (BTA) - Radan Kanev and Meglena Kuneva were
elected as co-chairs of the Reformist Bloc's (RB) Parliamentary
Group during the Group's Sunday meeting, Kanev told journalists.

Kuneva noted that the unanimous election of the two co-chairs
shows the Group's stability. The Parliamentary Group's statutes
were also adopted during the meeting.

Asked about his participation in a government, formed by GERB,
the RB and the Patriotic Front, Kanev said that the RB will
nominate candidates for positions in the Executive, according to
their newly adopted statutes and within the possibilities for
forming a government. The decision about who will represent the
RB in the Executive will be made by the RB and not by its
partners, Kanev added. According to him, the main reformist work
is directly connected to the legislative process. It is time
for the true power to return where it belongs - in the National
Assembly, he said.

Kuneva said that no questions pertaining to the RB's
participation in government were discussed.
