Sofia, October 29 (BTA) - At a ceremony in Sofia on Tuesday
evening, President Rosen Plevneliev handed the 2014 Manager of
the Year award to Solvay Sodi AD CEO Spiros Nomikos,
Plevneliev's press secretariat said.

In his speech at the award-giving ceremony, Plevneliev said that
the successful managers are aware how important the people are.
"The human capital is the most important factor for the
development of any country and economy," he said, noting that
Bulgaria needs responsible and competent leaders. "We want to
name them, showcase their success and make way for them,"
Plevneliev said.

He congratulated the organizers of the competition, saying that
the Manager of the Year award has become a good tradition, as
well as a touchstone of the state of the Bulgarian business
environment and culture, and also of the corporate social
