Patriotic Front Would Support Government with Participation of Bulgarian Socialist Party, ABV Movement

Sofia, October 29 (BTA) - Patriotic Front (PF) floor leader
Valeri Simeonov said, speaking in the corridors of Parliament
Wednesday, that "it would not be bad if a cabinet of GERB and
the Reformist Bloc, with possible participation of PF experts,
also include people from the Bulgarian Socialist Party and the
ABV Movement".

Simeonov's statement came after on Tuesday the right-wing
Reformist Bloc (RB) set a condition for participating in a
GERB-led government whereby the latter also include members of
the PF, with whom a coalition agreement be signed as well. RB
also went so far as to suggest a trilateral meeting with GERB
and the PF to discuss the option of joint governance by the
three.

Simeonov said that his formation has not yet received an
invitation to such talks but reiterated that the decision of
PF's Political Council is not to contribute political
personalities as ministers in the future government. He said
that the decision has been re-confirmed and that "at the moment
there is no need to change this position".

Simeonov was optimistic that a cabinet will be formed "very
soon". He said that first a programme of governance is to be
signed and then talks of a cabinet could start.
