Reformist Bloc to Propose
Cabinet Members
Tuesday

Sofia, November 3 (BTA) - The Reformist Bloc (RB) will make
specific proposals for participants in the cabinet on Tuesday,
co-floor leader Radan Kanev said after meeting with Roumyana
Buchvarova and Menda Stoyanova of GERB's negotiating team.

Asked which portfolios the RB is eyeing, Kanev said it would not
be fair to GERB to announce this before the negotiations. He
denied media stories which mentioned eight or nine ministries,
adding that the RB was "modest".

Kanev said that the programme declaration on the priorities of
the future government prepared by GERB and the RB was almost
ready and the final touches were being added. "After a
seven-hour effort on Sunday my colleagues have done a great job
and most things have been agreed," said Kanev.

A coalition agreement will be signed after the majority, the
programme and the names are agreed, he added.

GERB's Roumyana Buchvarova said specific details were discussed.
She said Monday's meeting with Kanev had been preparatory.
There will not be surprises in the cabinet's structure, said
Buchvarova. The Ministry of Economy, Energy and Tourism will be
divided into three parts and the Investment Planning Ministry
will be closed.

Buchvarova said GERB was satisfied with the pace of work for
now. PK/DD
