Beijing/Sofia, November 7 (BTA) - The InvestBulgaria Agency
(IBA) presented in Beijing the opportunities for investments,
agriculture and tourism in Bulgaria, the Bulgarian-Chinese
Business Development Association said Friday.

Europe's first Euro-Chinese Economic Development Zone (ECEDZ)
was presented in Beijing on Thursday. The project, which will be
developed in the area of Plovdiv (South Central Bulgaria),
attracted considerable interest at a Bulgarian-Chinese Business
Forum entitled "Bulgaria: Expand Your Business", organized by
the IBA with the support of the European Union.

The event was attended by financiers and business executives,
who discussed opportunities for investment and cooperation in
the spheres of transport equipment, machine-building,
electronics, food industry, agriculture, tourism and
hydrotherapy treatment in Bulgaria.

The forum, which was opened by the Bulgarian Ambassador in
Beijing, Plamen Shoukyurliev, and IBA Deputy Executive Director
Kostadin Djatev, presented the advantages of the country,
including a strategic geographical location and the most
attractive taxes in the EU.

The next forum of the "Bulgaria: Expand Your Business" series
will be held in Shanghai on November 11. LI/BR
