Seventh International Print  Art Triennial Starts in Sofia

Sofia, November 10 (BTA) - The 7th International Print Art
Triennial - Sofia 2014 is taking place at all the exhibition
halls of the Union of Bulgarian Artists' gallery from November
10 to November 30, UBA organizers said.

An International Print Art Triennial was first organized twenty
years ago and has since become a current platform for
contemporary world print art and one of the significant
international events in the sphere of visual arts in Bulgaria.

Arriving in Bulgaria for the Triennial are curators and key
figures from the world of contemporary print art, such as Jose
Guedes (Brazil), Henry Cline (USA) and Marc Frising
(Luxembourg).

The forum is organized by the Union of Bulgarian Artists' Print
Art and Illustration Section, with the financial support of
Sofia Municipality programmes Culture and Mobility and with the
cooperation of the embassies of Brazil and the United States in
Bulgaria.

On the Triennial's programme is also a discussion on
"Contemporary Print Art: Between the Classical and Digital
Technologies," which will take place on November 11, the
organizers said.
