Foreign Ministry Again Recommends to Bulgarians in Libya to Leave Country


Sofia, November 10 (BTA) - The Foreign Ministry again strongly
recommends to all Bulgarian nationals who have not left Libya
after the events in July 2014 to do so in the shortest term
possible, the ministry said in a press release Monday.

These Bulgarians should take into view the serious risks for
their safety and lives in the conditions of temporary
non-functioning of the local state structures and escalation of
the armed conflict between various Libyan forces, the press
release reads.

The Foreign Ministry recalls that after the evacuation of the
Bulgarian Embassy in Tripoli at the end of July, the capacity
for protection and assistance to Bulgarian nationals in distress
on Libyan territory is extremely limited.
