Bulgaria, Romania to Set Up Joint Tourist Information Centre
Sofia, November 28 (BTA) - Bulgaria and Romania will set up a joint tourist information center to promote common tourist products. This emerged Friday during meetings of Transport Minister Nikolina Angelkova with Romanian Deputy Prime Minister Liviu Dragnea and Romanian EU Funds Minister Eugen Teodorovici in Bucharest, the Economy Ministry said.
"Romania is among Bulgaria's key tourist markets and partners and bilateral relations in tourism are traditionally good," said Transport Minister Angelkova. The two sides agreed to hold a joint working meeting with representatives of the tourism industry in Rousse in the second half of December to discuss the details of a joint tourist information centre and possibilities to promote common tourist products under the EU Danube Strategy.
Minister Angelkova unveiled a forum in Bucharest showcasing products by over 25 Bulgarian foods and beverages producers and distributors.
