Sofia, January 24 (BTA) - The Spokesperson of the Foreign
Ministry has issued a statement posted on its website: "We
express our deep concern over the escalation of tensions in East
Ukraine as a result of renewed hostilities and the growing
number of casualties, including civilians. We are worried that
the latest serious incidents could jeopardize the future of the
process of peaceful settlement of the crisis."

The statement also says: "We urge all parties to the conflict to
immediately cease hostilities and withdraw weapons as foreseen
in the Minsk agreements, which would make it possible to convene
the Contact Group for finding a negotiated solution to the
