Huge Interest Prompts
Imperial Russian Ballet
to Stage Three Performances in Sofia

Sofia, January 27 (BTA) - The Imperial Russian Ballet,
established 20 years ago by Maya Plisetskaya, will stage three
performances in Sofia, prompted by the high interest towards its
art.

The first performance, Swan Lake, is to be shown on February 10,
followed by Bolero and Carmina Burana on February 11, said the
co-organizers from Joker Media, who work jointly with the
Eurasia - 2014 Foundation. The third performance, Don Quixote,
will be staged on February 12 at Hall 1 of the National Palace
of Culture.

This is the only Russian private ballet company, who not only
survived despite the difficulties during the Perestroyka period,
but became famous around the world, the organizers said. Its
classical performances staged in recent years are considered to
be among the best achievements in the performing arts. LI/MY
