Socialists, Nationalists Congratulate Syriza on Election Victory


Sofia, January 27 (BTA) - Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP)
Chairman Mihail Mikov and Ataka Leader Volen Siderov cabled
congratulations to the new Greek Prime Minister
Alexis Tsipras in connection with the victory of the Syriza Left
coalition at the Sunday elections.

"Today, the Greek citizens have voted their confidence for
taking a different course - the one of economic development and
growth as opposed to the neo-Liberal policy of painful strict
economies and anti-crisis restrictions," writes Mikov. "Please,
allow me to wish you strength, inexhaustible energy, will and
success," he concludes.

"I am happy that Greece has chosen the right way - taking their
homeland's destiny into their own hands. [Е] I have repeatedly
said that the incumbent European Union should disintegrate and a
new one should be set up on the basis of genuine national
sovereignty and Christian values," says Siderov.
