Bulgaria Condemns Killings of Japanese Nationals Haruna Yukawa and Kenji Goto


Sofia, February 2 (BTA) - A statement of Foreign Minister Daniel
Mitov released by his Ministry on Monday says that Bulgaria
sharply condemns the horrendous killings of Japanese Nationals
Haruna Yukawa and Kenji Goto, the responsibility for which was
assumed by the Islamic State terrorist group.

"Bulgaria condemns terrorism in all its forms and
manifestations. The killings of the two Japanese nationals show
once again the need for an even stronger pooling of the efforts
of the international community for fighting terror," the
statement reads.

"In this difficult time Bulgaria stands by Japan who is its
long-term friend and partner," the statement says. It also
offerя condolences to the families of the deceased.
