No Bulgarian Servicemen Injured in Kabul Bombing
Sofia, August 7 (BTA) - No Bulgarian servicemen have been
injured in Friday's bombing in the Afghan capital Kabul, the
Defence Ministry said.
A car bomb exploded in a residential area near an army compound,
killing at least eight people.
Defence Minister Nikolai Nenchev spoke by phone to the commander
of the Bulgarian contingent and is in constant touch with the
leadership. He said that the Bulgarian troops continue to fulfil
their assigned tasks in accordance with the operational plans
and procedures of the NATO international mission.
