97 Election Alerts Submitted via Emergency Number 112

Sofia, November 1 (BTA) - Ninety-seven alerts about election
irregularities were submitted via emergency telephone number 112
 by 2 p.m. on Sunday and were subsequently referred to the
respective regional directorates of the Interior Ministry for
investigation, the ministry reported.

Another 10 alerts, including six anonymous ones, were filed via
the Situation Centre's hotline.

By 2 p.m., the Interior Ministry issued 151 certificates to
voters whose IDs had been lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed.

Plamen Nikolov, Regional Prosecutor of Dobrich, Northeastern
Bulgaria, said he has ordered stronger police presence at voting
 sections in the city's Balik housing estate after complaints
about organized transportation of voters.
