site.btaAmendments to Spatial Development Act Envisage Reduction of Administrative Burden

Sofia, November 7 (BTA) - A Bill Amending the Spatial Development Act envisages reduction of the number of paper documents which the citizens and the business should present to the Directorate for National Construction Control, the press centre of the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works said.

A requirement for a certificate for recognition of acquired university education abroad is scrapped. Issued by the National Centre for Information and Documentation, this certificate was hitherto required when applying for a certificate for assessment of the compliance of the investment project and the exercise of construction supervision.

The amendments aim to alleviate the administrative procedures and reduce the administrative burden as this would help the interested persons save time and resources, reads the message.

The proposed changes to the Spatial Development Act and the reasoning behind them are published on the Internet page of the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works in its Draft Statutory Acts section, on the website of the Directorate for National Construction Control and the Public Consultations Portal, the Ministry's press centre also says in the press release.
