Sofia, February 15 (BTA) - Cooperation in the production of animal feed and opportunities for investment in a joint business for production of feed was among the highlights of Thursday talks between Bulgarian Agriculture and Foods Minister Roumen Porozhanov and the visiting Saudi Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture, Abdulrahman bin Abdulmohsen Al Fadley, said Porozhanov's Ministry. The guest is quoted as saying that the time has come to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the agriculture sector and to enhance the exchange of experience, information and technologies in the efforts to increase agricultural production in the two countries.

The two ministers also discussed the potential for export of Bulgarian bee honey to Saudi Arabia.

Abdulrahman bin Abdulmohsen Al Fadley invited Bulgarian companies to participate in an exhibition in Saudi Arabia in October to present quality Bulgarian meat and diary products, honey, fruit and vegetables.

The guest is quoted as saying that for 45 years now brined cheese has been called "Bulgarian cheese" in his country.

After the ministerial meeting, representatives of the largest associations of food producers in Bulgaria presented their products to the guest.
