Sofia, January 15 (BTA) - Lufthansa and Ryanair have cancelled a total of
six flights between Sofia and Frankfurt and between Sofia and Hamburg on Tuesday, Sofia Airport said in a press release.

The following flights have been cancelled:

LH1429, departing Sofia for Frankfurt at 6:50 local time.
LH1426, landing in Sofia from Frankfurt at 13:40 local time.
LH1427, departing Sofia for Frankfurt at 14:25 local time.
LH1428, landing in Sofia from Frankfurt at 22:15 local time.
FR6405, departing Sofia for Hamburg at 17:30 local time.
FR6406, landing in Sofia from Hamburg at 23:10 local time.

Passengers are advised to approach the airline concerned for further information.

The apparent reason for the cancellations is a strike of airport security staff at eight German airports, including the country's largest hubs Frankfurt and Munich. LI/LG
