site.btaCOVID-19 Update: 679 New Cases,Test Positivity Rate at 18,1%

March 15 (BTA) - The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Bulgaria reached 278,557 after 3,759 tests identified 679 new infections on Sunday, according to data posted on https://coronavirus.bg/. The test positivity rate now stands at 18,1 per cent.

The active cases are 42,090. Currently, the hospitalized patients number 7,101, including 533 in intensive care.

Another 584 COVID-19 patients have recovered over the last 24 hours.

Fifty-one fatalities were reported, and the death toll now adds up to 11,285.

With 975 new inoculations over the last 24 hours, a total of 338,879 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered in Bulgaria.
