site.btaCOVID-19 Update: 176 New Cases, Test Positivity Rate at 2.2%

August 9 (BTA) - The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases
in Bulgaria reached 428,049, after 6,436 tests identified 176
new infections on Sunday, according to data posted on
https://coronavirus.bg/ early on Monday.
The test positivity rate now stands at 2.73 per cent.

The active cases are 10,907. Currently, the hospitalized
patients number 1,059, including 99 in intensive care.

Another 13 COVID-19 patients have recovered over the last 24
hours, bringing the total to 398,887.

Three fatalities was reported, and the death toll now adds up to
 18,255.
