Nuclear Reactor Goes into Scheduled Maintenance
Vratsa, Northwestern Bulgaria, September 13 (BTA) - Reactor Unit
6 at the Kozloduy Nuclear Power Plant was brought off stream at
1:30 a.m. on Saturday in order to undergo scheduled annual
maintenance until the end of October, the plant's press office
said.
During the maintenance session, competent personnel will carry
out current and preventive maintenance and will refuel the
reactor.
The only other operational reactor at Kozloduy, Unit 5, is
working at full capacity in accordance with the guidelines of
the Electricity System Operator.
