Gallup International Survey Reveals
Dynamic Picture of Electoral Attitudes
in Sunday Elections

Sofia, October 3 (BTA) - Three political formation are dead sure
participants in the next Parliament, two are almost sure and
another three are possible, a survey of Gallup International
shows.

The outcome of the elections can be summed up in the formula
3+2+3. The three obvious participants are GERB, the Bulgarian
Socialist Party (BSP) and the Movement for Rights and Freedoms
(MRF). They are followed by another two, for which it would be a
huge surprise of they don't have MPs, Bulgaria without
Censorship and the Reformist Bloc. Another three will compete
with each other around the 4 per cent barrier - the Patriotic
Front. Ataka and ABV.

According to Gallup data, GERB is expected to garnish 33.9 per
cent of the votes, BSP - 18.9 per cent, MRF - 15.1 per cent,
Bulgaria without Censorship - 5.9 per cent, and the Reformist
Bloc - 5.7 per cent. The possible deviations predicted by the
social scientists are: for GERB about 2.5 per cent, for BSP -
2.4 per cent, for MRF - 2.3 per cent, and 1.3 per cent each for
the Reformist Bloc and Bulgaria without Censorship.

The polling agency expects the Patriotic Front to receive 4.4
per cent of the votes and Ataka - 4 per cent. ABV will be
awarded the confidence of 3.8 per cent of the voters. Gallup
says the possible deviations in the vote for these three parties
is 1.3 per cent for the Patriotic Front and 1.2 per cent each
for Ataka and ABV.

The situation is dynamic and changes in the ranking are possible
because the results of a number of formations are close. In
such a case it would not be correct to say how many parties will
be represented in Parliament or to distribute seats, Gallup
experts say.

Some 3,400,000 people have declared they will cast their vote.
