Sofia, October 9 (BTA) - The Central Election Commission (CEC)
Thursday declared the conclusive allocation of seats in the 43rd
National Assembly, resulting from the October 5 early
parliamentary elections in Bulgaria.

The GERB Party is allocated 84 MP seats, the BSP-Left Bulgaria
coalition 39, the Movement for Rights and Freedoms 38 seats, the
Reformist Bloc coalition 23 seats, the Patriotic Front
coalition 19 seats, the Bulgaria without Censorship coalition 15
seats, the Ataka Party 11 seats, and the ABV coalition 11
seats.

The names of the elected MPs and the preferences will be
declared on Sunday, the last day of the seven-day period under
the Election Code.

Out of a total of 6,858,304 Bulgarians on the electoral rolls,
3,500,585 went to the polls, and 3,501,269 ballots (of which
3,283,192 valid and 218,125 invalid) were found in the ballot
boxes, said CEC Chair Ivilina Aleksieva.

Each of the three independent candidates who ran for Parliament
on October 5 (Nikola Nikolov, Oktay Enimehmedov and Toncho
Tonev) garnered 0.01 per cent of the votes. PK/LG
