Sofia, October 18 (BTA) - The Patriotic Front coalition of the
National Front for Salvation of Bulgaria and the Internal
Macedonian Revolutionary Organization sent an appeal disputing
the lawfulness of the election of national representatives of
the Movement for Rights and Freedoms to the 43rd National
Assembly, the coalition's press centre said on Saturday. The
appeal is addressed to President Rosen Plevneliev, the Council
of Ministers, the Prosecutor General, the Supreme Court of
Cassation and the Supreme Administrative Court.

In particular, the Patriotic Front demands annulment of the
elections at voting sections on the territory of Turkey due to
alleged multiple breaches on the election day. "We find that the
elections were held at flagrant and multiple violations of the
Constitution and the Election Code, under the conditions of poor
organization, errors and incompetence of the elections
commissions, which gives grounds to request from the
Constitutional Court to declare the election of the respective
MPs as unlawful," reads the appeal.

"We find that the election in the sections, opened in Turkey,
should be nullified and the results from them - declared
invalid, which, on its part, will lead to a change of the final
results of the elections," the Patriotic Front also says.
