Dwelling Prices Drop by 0.1 Per Cent
in Third Quarter of 2015
from Second Quarter
Sofia, October 23 (BTA) - In the third quarter of 2014, the
market prices of dwellings decreased by an average 0.1 per cent
from the second quarter of 2014, the National Statistical
Institute reported on Thursday.
In the third quarter of 2014, the market prices of dwellings
increased by an average 0.4 per cent from the third quarter of
2013.
The third quarter of 2014 saw a dwelling price decrease from the
second quarter of 2014 in 19 regional capitals and in Sofia
Region. The decline was more substantial in Kyustendil, 2.5 per
cent, Pernik, 2.4 per cent, and Razgrad, 1.9 per cent. Dwelling
prices increased in the remaining eight regional capitals:
Bourgas, Varna, Sofia City, Shoumen, Stara Zagora, Kurdzhali,
Veliko Turnovo and Silistra.
In the third quarter of 2014, the average market price of
dwellings countrywide was 868.77 leva per sq m. The average
prices were highest in the following regional capitals: Sofia,
1,485.67 leva/sq m, Varna, 1,378.33 leva/sq m, and Bourgas,
1,145.33 leva/sq m. VI/LG
