New Director Appointed to Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre Agency


Sofia, January 24 (BTA) - Svetoslav Nakov has been appointed
Executive Director of the Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre
Agency by Regional Development and Public Works Minister
Liliyana Pavlova. Nakov, who was head of the Agency's office for
Sofia Region, is replacing Valentin Yovev from January 26.

The new director will be tasked with ensuring better quality of
the cadastral map of most of Bulgaria's territory. His main
task will be to minimize errors in the available data and avoid
new errors in the creation of maps and registers.

He is expected to work actively for the introduction of
e-government and for better e-services to individuals and
businesses, as well as to organize the work of the working
groups envisaged in the government programme.
