site.btaHemus Motorway Investigation Could Affect Composition of a Parliamentary Group, Interior Minister Boyko Rashkov Says

Sofia, December 12 (BTA) - Nobody set conditions for me, because it is clear that the Minister of Interior acts according to the laws of the country, said on Sunday on the Bulgarian National Radio caretaker Minister of Interior Boyko Rashkov, who is nominated for the same post in the government headed by Kiril Petkov.

The investigation into Hemus Motorway could affect the composition of a certain parliamentary group, Rashkov said when asked to comment on his statement on Saturday at the presentation of the new cabinet in the National Assembly, when he expressed the same opinion. Asked if there would be any arrests, the Minister said: "Nothing more, nothing less. Our laws do not only provide for detention, but there are also other measures of legal coercion."

Whether procedural actions will be taken in this direction depends largely on the Bulgarian Prosecutor's Office, according to Boyko Rashkov, who declined to specify which party the person in question is from.
