Q4 2015 GDP Per Employed up 2.5%%

Sofia, March 8 (BTA) - According to preliminary data, in the fourth quarter of 2015 GDP per employed increased by 2.5 per cent year-on-year, the National Statistical Institute said Tuesday.

The employed in the economy number 3,270,100 and the total number of work-hours - 1,375.5 million. The structure of employment by economic activities in the fourth quarter of 2014 and 2015 shows an increase of the relative share in the industrial sector and the services sector.

One employed accounts for 7,247.2 leva of the current volume of GDP, each employed generating an average 17.2 leva GDP per hour.

Gross value added average per employed actually increased by 0.7 per cent and by 0.6 per cent per man-hour compared to the same period in 2014.

According to preliminary data, in the fourth quarter of 2015 the level of labour productivity in the industrial sector was 5,939.3 leva gross value added (GVA) at an average per one employed and 14.0 leva per man-hour.

In the services sector each employed generates an average 6,986.8 GDP, one man-hour generating an average e16.2 leva of the current volume of the indicator.

Labour productivity in the agrarian sector is the lowest - 1,428.8 leva GDP per employed and 3.8 leva per man-hour.
