site.btaPM Borissov Talks over Phone with Turkish President Erdogan

Sofia, January 25 (BTA) - Prime Minister Boyko Borissov talked over the phone with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan Thursday, the Government's information service said.

The two discussed the idea to organize a meeting in Bulgaria of the leaders of European institutions and Turkey. Borissov said that such a meeting can help normalize the dialogue between the EU and Turkey, which is in the interest of both sides.

Erdogan congratulated Borissov on the official start of the Bulgarian EU Presidency.
