A total of 10 teachers from the secondary school in Karlovo underwent a one-week educational programme in the city of Braga in Portugal, the school said on Tuesday.

The programme, conducted entirely in English, included classes on inclusive education, entrepreneurship, digital learning and environmental education. In order to guarantee the good implementation of all project activities, monitoring was conducted by the school director Luka Machev.

The aim of the programme was for the participants to acquire new practical skills in various educational fields and increase their knowledge regarding the inclusion and diversity of different social groups, environmental sustainability and green practices and technologies, digital education and digital transformation.

The training marked the first stage of the implementation of the Sustainable European Future project under the Erasmus+ programme. The second stage of the project, in which 16 students and two teachers will participate, will be implemented at the end of September again in Portugal, the school noted.
