site.btaParticipants in Bulgarian Media Forum in Odesa Pay Homage to Aleko Konstantinov

The participants in the 19th World Meeting of Bulgarian Media, taking place in Odesa June 19-21, paid homage to Bulgarian writer Aleko Konstantinov as they took a wreath to Konstantinov memorial plaque Wednesday. 

The memorial plaque was unveiled March 4, 2024 on the initiative of the Bulgarian Consulate and the BTA National Press Club in Odesa. It is situated in the Law Faculty of the Odesa National University. The donor of the plaque is Ukrainian Nikolay Pestruev, who is of Bulgarian origin. Konstantinov studied law here from 1881 to 1885.

Student in the Law faculty of the Odesa University in 1881 - 1885.

BTA is organizing the 19th World Meeting of Bulgarian Media in Odesa, Bolhrad, and Izmail, Ukraine, from June 18 to June 21, 2024.
