site.btaItaly's Emilia-Romagna Region Presents Culture Award to Bulgarian Opera Prima Raina Kabaivanska and Architect Dante Bini
Bulgaria opera singer Raina Kabaivanska is the winner of the Culture Award of the Italian region of Emilia-Romagna, said the Bulgarian Consulate General in Milano. She received the honour together with architect Dante Bini during a ceremony in Bologna on February 20.
The award was presented by Emilia-Romagna President Stefano Bonaccini, who praised Kabaivanska's outstanding career and dedication to young talents, and described her as one of the most consequential opera singers of out time.
The Bulgarian Consulate was represented at the ceremony by Consul General Ana Paskaleva.
The Emilia-Romagna Culture Award is awarded annually to a woman and a man who have particularly distinguished themselves in the cultural field. The winners are chosen from among living people who were born and/or resident, live or work in Emilia-Romagna, who have brought prestige to the region during their lives.
