A screening of the film Plague will take place at the Magura Cultural Center in Chicago, the organizers wrote on their website and Facebook page on Sunday.

The premiere of the film in Chicago will be on February 4 at 5 pm.

The director is Ivan Vladimirov, and the main roles are played by Svezhen Mladenov, Evelina Bibova and Matey Michev.

So far some 37 Bulgarian films have been screened at the Magura Cinema, most of them in parallel with their premieres in Bulgaria. The screenings have reached over 3,400 viewers in the United States. "All of this could not have happened without the support of volunteers, partners and Bulgarian businesses in the Chicago area," Magura notes.

Ticket revenue is invested in Magura Cultural Center programmes and maintenance, as well as back to filmmakers in Bulgaria, the cultural centre further wrote.
