The second stage of the All-Ukrainian Bulgarian Language and Literature Olympiad was held at the Georgi Rakovski High School in Bolhrad. Fourteen students from 9th to 11th grades from Bolhrad region took part in the competition.

Bulgarian language and literature are taught in seven schools in the two municipalities. These are the Georgi Rakovski High School in Bolhrad, and the schools in the Bulgarian villages of Vasilevka, Banovka, Kalchevo, Vladicheni, Tabaki and Zaliznichnoye.

The winners of the second stage are awarded diplomas of the Bolhrad City Council.

"The Olympiad passed calmly, without sirens. The participants had the opportunity to work for three hours. They had tasks in Bulgarian language and literature, composition, a test, and practical classes," Natalia Kara, deputy director of the Bolgrad high school, told BTA's BG World section.

The third regional stage of the Olympiad will be held in Odesa at the end of February 2024.
