The Bulgarian Ambassador to Moldova Maya Dobreva took part in the opening ceremony of the school year at the Bulgarian Theory Lyceum Vasil Levski in Chisinau, the Bulgarian Embassy in Moldova said on its Facebook page on Tuesday.

"During her address, she congratulated the students, teachers and management of the school, which has become an emblem for the Bulgarian community in the Moldovan capital," the publication said.

The school principal Natalia Yaroslavskaya took the opportunity to thanked for the material, financial and methodological support provided by Bulgaria under the project programmes of the Foreign Ministry and the Education Ministry. In the last two years, the lyceum has implemented two projects with grant funding totalling almost BGN 100,000 under the Bulgarian Development Aid programme, the Bulgarian diplomatic mission added.
