The head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper, said on the Telegram app that an energy infrastructure site was hit in a drone strike on Friday. Kiper labelled the perpetrators Russian terrorists.
One civilian employee was injured and hospitalized. The building was damaged, and a fire broke out but was then quickly extinguished.
The Bulgarian community in Odesa Region is the third biggest, numbering more than 150,000 people, according to the 2001 census. Some 50,000 to 60,000 Bulgarians live in Odesa.
