site.btaOdesa Yacht Club Damaged after Russian Drone Attacks
The yacht club in Odesa suffered damage following Russian drone strikes on the city and its surroundings on Monday night. The attacks lasted for nearly an hour and a half, local authorities said.
Commenting on the attack, Oleg Kiper, chairperson of the Odesa regional military administration, stressed: "As a result of the night attack of the Russian terrorists on Odesa, damage has been caused in the area of the yacht club. Our air defence forces destroyed 6 combat drones. The debris of one of the downed drones fell near the yacht club. There was damage to private property, to the sailing school and a hangar, several civilian vessels were also damaged. There were no deaths or injuries".
According to the Ukrainian Navy, the Russians are maintaining tension in the Black Sea. As of 10 am on October 17, there are four Russian warships, including a missile carrier, in the Black Sea.
